In this picture Minni is four weeks old and me and my boyfriend met her first time.
It all started in July 2014 when our 2-years old cat died and I felt so alone and sad. Then I started thinking of having a dog. Of course we wanted a new cat also but it was also a great time to think about having a dog. If the cat and the dog are both puppies, they might become very good friends??
I started searching for little dogs and then I found one pragueratter-grower who had a dog pregnant. I send a message and asked all bout this breed: is it suitable for apartment buildings, does it spark a lot, what it's breed's personality like and much more. She answered me right away and told that this pragueratter is very kind breed. It loves it's owner more than anything, wants to be part of everything and is suitable for apartment buildings. Well.. it sparks but if I train it very well, it shouldn't be a problem.
Well, I let the grower know that I'm very interested. Unfortunately becoming puppies had already "booked" and I stayed waiting. It didn't get long when I had email where was pictures of two beautiful puppies and I was the lucky one to get to choose first. Somehow it wasn't very hard because the brown one took my heart right away.
It took 7 weeks that we got our little girl home. And when it happened I couldn't believe my eyes: she was so small, only 800 gram. And she was so cute. We had bought her a travelling box before we picked her up. She was pretty astonished and a bit scared but when I pet her and kept my hand near her she calmed.
Home we had a little black cat Kössi waiting for us. I bet he didn't expect we to bring this kind of family member with us. And to be honest I was little nervous how these two will get along but it was for nothing. It took only about 15 minutes and these two were playing together like they had always been together.
So, Minni is a little pragueratter girl and today she is almost one year old. Shewas born on 26 July 2014 in Tarvasjoki, Finland. She has one sister whose name is Bambi. Now she is a very big part of our family and best friend with our cat Kössi. They play together all the time, even outside when we are on our summer cottage.
